On the bus to Kigali

Hooray! We've packed out hiking boots and my camera gear and some tiny bananas for the road. Billy (who has done this before) suggested Dramamine, so I brought some just for today. So when we meet our friends on the other side we'll be fresh and happy and ready for a fabulous week. Right now as we sit waiting for the bus to fill so we can leave, we are surrounded by hawkers - selling water and flashlights and used men's belts, cologne and Obama bags. We dont need cell minutes and will wait to change money till we get to kigali. We passed on the made-in-china hatchet/multi-tool. We bought some fruit flavored suckers out of a cardboard snack tray. Oh, this Africa. We do love you.
